Sectors
Our Focus
We are building innovative solutions for the supply of agave to meet the rapidly growing demand in all target markets
01
Food
Agave is well known for being the origin of Tequila and Mescal spirits, but agave also produces a high-quality syrup, as well as agave inulin, a quality prebiotic fibre used as a sweetener with benefits in managing blood sugar stability, improving weight loss and boosting gut microbiome. Raw agave inulin is in great demand alongside the rise of ketogenic and intermittent fasting lifestyles.
02
Fibre
As one of its oldest uses, agave fibre is returning to favour as a sustainable resource for ropes, fabrics and even as art and décor - such is this famous piece made from sisal agave by Fernando Laposse from his collection known as "The Dogs".
Agave fibre can also be added to common fabrics such as cotton for improved "whole of supply chain" sustainability, while increasing quality and durability.
03
Fuel
Possibly the most sustainable source of biofuel feedstock in the world. Agave requires less energy to be converted to fuel than any other plant source commonly used for biofuel production, delivering a low-input, high energy yielding alternative for sustainable aviation fuel, ethanol, and even green hydrogen.
