Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9th September 2026

1 Who we are

Agave Resources Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 661 946 872) operates this website. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that company. This policy explains how we handle personal information in connection with our website, enquiries, AgaveLink™ grower activities, AgaveLab™ research enquiries, shop and restricted investor area, where those services are available.

Privacy contact: info@agaveresources.com. Postal contact: 222 Quay Street, Rockhampton Qld 4700. You may also contact us through our website Contact page. Please mark privacy enquiries “Privacy”.

2 Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we collect your name, contact details, organisation and role; information you provide in enquiries or correspondence; grower interests, property location, intended planting area and crop objectives; and information needed to manage orders, deliveries, accounts and authorised investor access. Property and business information may be personal information where it identifies an individual.

Our website may also record technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, pages accessed, timestamps and security logs. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or information about other people unless it is needed for your enquiry and you are authorised to provide it.

3 How we collect information

We collect information directly when you complete a form, contact us, register interest, subscribe, create an account or place an order. We may receive relevant information from a person authorised to act for you, a service provider supporting your transaction, or public business sources. Cookies and similar technologies are explained below.

You can make a general enquiry anonymously or using a pseudonym where practical. If you do not provide information we reasonably need, we may be unable to respond fully, fulfil an order, assess a grower enquiry or provide restricted access.

4 How we use information

We use relevant information to respond to enquiries; assess and administer grower participation; discuss research or industry partnerships; process orders and deliveries; manage accounts and investor permissions; maintain website security; keep necessary business records; and meet legal obligations. We also use it for other purposes explained when information is collected or otherwise permitted by law.

If you choose to receive marketing, we use your details to send the updates you selected. You can unsubscribe using the link in those messages or by contacting us. An enquiry, purchase or investor access request does not by itself sign you up to our general marketing list. Essential transaction or account messages may continue where needed.

5 Service providers and other recipients

We disclose relevant information to service providers who support our website, hosting, IT security, communications, payment processing, order fulfilment, delivery and professional advice. We may disclose it to a research or industry partner where needed to progress an enquiry you have asked us to pursue, with your permission where required. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

Payments

We use ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions, provided by Payment Acceptance Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 645 073 034), to process online payments.

Card payments in our online shop are processed by our payment provider, ANZ Worldline, through a secure hosted payment page. Your full card number and security code are entered directly with ANZ Worldline and are not received or stored by ARA. We receive your order and delivery details, the payment amount, a transaction reference and the payment status, and may see your card type and the last four digits of your card. We do not store full card numbers or security codes.

We handle order and transaction information needed to fulfil purchases, confirm payment, maintain records and manage refunds or payment enquiries. ANZ Worldline handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

6 Overseas handling & disclosures

Some of our service providers store or process personal information outside Australia. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. Our providers currently include: website hosting and email — Webcentral (Australia); newsletter and email delivery — MailPoet / Automattic, Inc. (United States); and, once our online shop launches, payment processing — ANZ Worldline (country to be confirmed). We will update this section as our providers or arrangements change.

Where Australian privacy law applies, we take the steps required by that law in relation to overseas disclosures.

Delivery locations

Our online store currently offers delivery within Australia only.

Outside Australia? Contact us about selected merchandise before ordering. We can assess availability and provide an individual shipping quote. International orders are accepted only once delivery arrangements and costs have been agreed.
