Agave Resources Australia’s Managing Director, Jennifer Wainwright, joined ABC Rural’s NT Country Hour to talk about the potential for agave as a new crop for northern Australia, from the trials now in the ground to the markets the plant could serve.

The conversation covers the agave trials underway across the Northern Territory, near Katherine, Ali Curung, Alice Springs and Darwin, and the range of uses agave can support beyond its best-known one, including biofuels, fibre and other bioproducts.
